At first, I thought that Oda is a old guy who draws good manga. But somehow I feel really surprised once I know that Oda is still young and hot. Seeing a guy writing like this, I feel like a gay here. Ha ha.
According to Wikipedia, Oda start his career when his Wanted manga won several awards. Thus he was offered a job in Young Jump. By the time, he only works as helper for other mangaka. He had working with several famous mangaka. One of them is Nobuhiro Watsuki, the mangaka of the famous Rurouni Kenshin (Samurai X) and Hunters x Hunters.
Being a helper for good mangaka sure give him a lot of benefits. No wonder Oda can bring One Piece through the world. With thousands of books being sold, One Piece can be said as a phenomena.
Oda started the first chapter of One Piece on 24 December 1997 but I only know about it during 2002. Once I read Volume 12 of One Piece, I feel like ‘Wow’.. who the hell created this manga. Although the drawing isn’t so pretty, but the storyline is just awesome.
Although Oda is quite hot, sorry to said because he isn’t available anymore. During Jump Festa stage performance, Oda had been a jury for a One Piece cosplay. His wife is Chiaki Inaba who played the role of Nami during the Cosplay. I stills wonder whether Oda married Chiaki because of her or because she resembles Nami.
Lets hope the best for Oda so that he can satisfy our lust for great chapter after chapter. Just don’t lust for Chiaki Inaba. A warning from Oda.
